An often-heard remark from advisors is: the DoLand impact reports give great insights, but how can we help our clients adjust the impact of their investments?

Well, our new impact simulation tool does just that. It shows how the impact profile changes when the composition of an investment is adjusted.

The most exciting part is the SDG optimizer. This allows the advisor to indicate specific client preferences on the Sustainable Development Goals and instantly see how the investment is nudged towards these preferences.

Under the hood, it uses complex convex quadratic optimization, but for the advisor it behaves like an intuitive impact dial improving the investment’s SDG profile without creating concentration or excessive turnover.

The dashboard also allows an advisor to dive into every single impact metric in the report. By double-clicking the advisor gets an extended explanation for the metric. Also, the top three and bottom three drivers of the metric are highlighted. This allows the advisor to provide deeper insights to clients and also get inspiration to investment adjustments.
